I was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer at the age of 26 February 11th, 2016. Before the diagnoses, I was just newly married and a new native to Dallas Texas. For me, everything was falling into place with my career, planning to have a family and buying a home. After retuning from our long overdue honeymoon in January 2016 , life changed. I was diagnosed a month after returning from my trip. Everything happened so quickly and getting as much education on my diagnoses was my main priority. As I researched, I realized that there were not many young women that popped up on google. Meaning age, race or similar backgrounds. So I decided to start my blog because I want people to relate and not feel like they were alone. Being opened minded about my journey has bene therapeutic in my healing process. Sharing my does, don'ts and just venting helped me in my time of need. Receiving so many messages from women with questions about guidance and just having someone to talk to made me want to fight harder and fight for them. My journey is your journey and I hope together we can fight this beast!
